These terms govern your relationship with Lumen Atelier. By using our website or hiring us, you agree to these terms.
1. Services
Lumen Atelier provides custom web development and "Traffic Efficiency Optimization" services. The specific deliverables (scope of work) will be defined in a separate proposal or contract for each client.
2. Intellectual Property (The Good Stuff)
Unlike most agencies that try to lock you in, our policy is simple:
Upon full payment, you own the code.
We transfer all intellectual property rights for the custom code we write for you. You are free to host it anywhere, modify it, or hire another developer to manage it. We do not retain "admin access" hostage.
3. Payments & Refunds
- Payment Structure: Typically 50% upfront, 50% on delivery, unless otherwise specified in your contract.
- Refunds: Due to the custom nature of code and strategy, we generally do not offer refunds once work has commenced. If you cancel a project mid-way, you pay for the hours/milestones completed.
4. Liability
We build high-quality, tested software. However, we cannot guarantee that code is bug-free forever (browsers change, APIs break). Lumen Atelier is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our software or advice.
5. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.
